What I do
I research the automatic construction of software for embedded systems. Embedded software developers face a great deal of heterogeneity within the device space. Therefore, developers should be able to specify the functionality of their programs without having to wory about the details of how those programs are implemented. Currently, I'm working on a component language for the automatic scaling of runtime systems for embedded programs. The work is done in conjuction with Raju Pandey and Ron Olsson.
And in my spare time, I tip cows.
