Biography

I am a Computer Science Ph.D student at UC Davis. I am currently working with Professor Prasant Mohapatra in the Networks lab. My current research interests is mainly on Wireless Mesh Networks and their implementations. Before joining the Ph.D program, I got a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering at UC Davis. I started working with computer networks in high school through the Cisco Networking Academy. It developed into an internship and contractor work at Cisco Systems.

Hobbies

  • In Fall 2006, I started studying the Northern Shaolin martial arts with Sifu Lai Hung. I currently know the open hand sets 4, 5 and 6. I also have some training in lion dance techniques, the broadsword (dao), the spear and the open hand sparring set.
  • When I started working on QuRiNet, I spent a lot of time helping the MADWIFI development team in fine-tuning the wireless device driver.
