Welcome!
I have received a master degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis on December, 2005. My
major emphasis of study was Scientific
Computation. My chair advisor was Professor Zhaojun Bai. My master thesis is on the topic of LAPACK-Style Algorithms and Software for Computing the Generalized Singular Value Decompositions: CSD, QSVD, and PSVD. A copy of the thesis is posted in the departmental site here.
I also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university (UCDavis). Upon completion of my undergraduate career, I decided to stay here and pursue graduate level of study.
Davis is such a warm (environmentally and socially) and peaceful town. That is part of the reason I enjoyed staying here for many years.
Upon receiving both degrees, I finally went back to the Bay area to start job hunting. I am now working for Yahoo! Inc. in its Sunnyvale headquarter. I feel fortunate enough to join one of the world's leading industries and get to work with friendly, intelligent, and diligent people. Have you Yahoo! today, by the way ^_^.
