I am a fourth year PhD candidate at the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, University of California, Davis. I belong to the Robust & Ubiquitous Networks (RUbiNet) Lab, where I work with an amazing group of colleagues. I am supervised by Dr. Chen-Nee Chuah.

My research interests span network algorithms, traffic engineering, network measurement, stochastic network theory, optimization and graph theory. I have a specific interest in intra-domain and inter-domain routing algorithms, design & analysis of fault tolerant network systems, and network anomaly detection. My research includes optimizing premeditated network management tasks such as infrastructure expansion and reconfiguration to minimize adverse effects on network performance. I am also interested in characterization of online social network based applications.

I completed my undergraduate degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where I was advised by Dr. Zartash Afzal Uzmi.
