I am a Christian. I belive that  "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16).
I belive that the name of Jesus is above all names and that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus (John 14:6).

This is the best way I have found to summarize what God is:

A Father:
that never leaves us alone,
that understands us,
that never forsakes us,
that never goes away,

that never hurts us
but touches us and cures the wounds of our souls,
that is always present,
that provides everything that we need,

that comprehends us,
that never accuses us
but says my son, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you,
