The Computer Science Museum is an effort by the UC Davis Computer Science Club, a chapter of the ACM, to help preserve the history of computing. Focusing primarily on personal computers, the museum contains artifacts and relics from years past.
It is currently situated in Engineering Unit 2, in Dr. Walters' research lab, until it can find a home of its own. There are many fully functional machines currently on display. The Museum also consists of a storehouse full of miscellaneous parts, ready to be repaired and reused. Much of the equipment has been donated by local groups and individuals, and our immense gratitude goes out to these people.
The WWW interface to the museum allows much greater exposure to our project. The Web project has gained much attention, and will be featured in an upcoming issue of Crossroads of the ACM.
This archive was brought to you with the help of many people. Special thanks go to Professor Dick Walters. Without his support and urging, this project would go nowhere.
